About Mellow Fidgets

What is Mellow Fidgets?

Mellow Fidgets is a small, family run UK business creating fun, tactile and satisfying 3D printed fidget toys and sensory products.

Our range includes textured fidgets, clickers, worry stones, spinners, sliders, articulated fidgets, keychains, pain stims and plenty of other things designed to keep busy hands occupied.

We design our range for anyone who enjoys fidgeting, whether that’s for sensory input, focus, relaxation or simply because clicking, spinning and fiddling with things is ridiculously satisfying.

Who are your fidget toys for?

Anyone who likes to fidget!

Our customers include adults, teenagers and children, as well as parents, teachers, SEN settings and people looking for sensory tools.

Our fidgets are particularly popular with autistic people, people with ADHD and sensory seekers, but you don’t need a diagnosis or particular reason to enjoy them.

Are your fidgets only for autistic people or people with ADHD?

Not at all.

While many autistic people, people with ADHD and other neurodivergent people find fidgeting and sensory input helpful or enjoyable, fidget toys can be used by anyone.

Some people fidget while working or studying, some use them while watching TV or gaming, and some simply enjoy having something satisfying to do with their hands.

Choosing a Fidget

Which fidget should I choose?

That depends entirely on what kind of sensory input you enjoy.

If you love clicking, take a look at our clickers.

If you like repetitive movement, you might prefer spinners, rollers or interactive fidgets.

If you enjoy rubbing and touching different surfaces, try one of our worry stones or textured fidgets.

And if you seek much stronger tactile sensations, our high intensity textured fidgets and pain stims may be more your thing.

Sensory preferences are incredibly individual, so there’s no single “best” fidget.

What is a pain stim?

Pain stims are high-intensity sensory tools designed to provide a strong tactile sensation without being intended to cause injury.

Our pain stims and high-intensity fidgets can feature pronounced bumps, points, ridges and other strong textures.

They may appeal to people who naturally seek stronger sensory input, including those who find themselves picking, pinching, scratching or pressing objects into their skin.

They should never be used with enough pressure to break or damage the skin. Stop using the product if it causes injury, numbness, bruising or persistent pain.

Our fidgets are sensory products and are not medical devices or substitutes for professional medical advice.

Do you sell quiet fidgets?

Yes. Not everyone wants a fidget that announces itself to the entire room.

Many of our textured fidgets, worry stones, articulated products, and other designs can be used quietly, making them useful for desks, classrooms, travelling and other situations where a loud clicker might not be ideal.

Do you sell fidgets for schools and SEN settings?

Yes.

Our products are purchased by parents, teachers, schools, SEN settings and other organisations.

We can also discuss larger orders, mixed sensory bundles and particular styles of fidget depending on the needs of your setting.

Our Products

Where are your products made?

Our 3D printed products are made by us here in the UK.

Producing our products ourselves gives us loads of freedom to experiment with different colours, textures, mechanisms and slightly unusual ideas.

What are your 3D printed fidgets made from?

Most of our 3D printed products are made using PLA (Polylactic Acid) unless otherwise stated on the product listing.

Some designs also contain additional components such as mechanical keyboard switches, keyrings, magnets or other moving parts.

Why can I see lines on my 3D printed product?

That’s completely normal.

3D printed products are created one tiny layer at a time, so you’ll usually be able to see subtle layer lines when you look closely.

There may also be small variations in texture or finish between products. These are natural characteristics of the 3D printing process rather than faults.

Will my product look exactly like the photograph?

We do our best to represent colours and products accurately, but there can be slight differences.

Colours can appear differently depending on your screen, and some 3D printing filaments, particularly rainbow, gradient, sparkle and colour changing materials, naturally vary from print to print.

This means your fidget might have slightly different colour placement from the one pictured.

We think that’s part of the fun.

What are heat changing fidgets?

Some of our products are printed using special thermochromic colour changing filament.

The material reacts to temperature, so the colour can change when warmed by your hands before gradually returning as it cools.

The exact colour change and speed can vary depending on the temperature of your hands and surroundings.

Are your products suitable for children?

Suitability varies between products, so please check the individual product listing before purchasing.

Some products contain small parts, mechanical switches, keyrings or other components that may present a choking hazard.

Children should be supervised where appropriate, and damaged products should be removed from use.

Can your fidgets be chewed?

No, unless a particular product explicitly states otherwise.

Our standard 3D printed fidgets are not designed as chew toys or oral sensory products and should not be bitten, chewed or placed in the mouth.

Looking After Your Fidgets

How do I clean my fidget?

Most of our 3D printed fidgets can be gently cleaned with a soft damp cloth and a little mild soap.

Avoid boiling water, dishwashers, harsh chemicals and prolonged soaking.

Products containing switches, magnets or other mechanical components should not be submerged in water.

Can 3D printed fidgets melt?

PLA can soften or deform when exposed to high temperatures.

Normal everyday use is absolutely fine, but avoid leaving your fidget on a radiator, next to an open flame or inside a very hot car.

Definitely don’t put it in the dishwasher, microwave or oven either. Your fidget won’t appreciate being cooked.

How quickly will my order be dispatched?

Our current processing time is next working day.

Because we make our products ourselves, processing times may occasionally increase during particularly busy periods.

Do you deliver across the UK?

Yes. We’re based in the UK and deliver throughout the UK.

Available delivery options and prices will be displayed during checkout.

Do you ship internationally?

YES, WE SHIP TO SELECT INTERNATIONAL DESTINATIONS VIA ROYAL MAIL

International delivery times vary depending on the destination, and customers may be responsible for local customs charges, taxes or import fees.

Can I return my order?

We accept eligible returns within the timeframe stated in our Delivery & Returns Policy.

Personalised and bespoke products cannot usually be returned simply because you’ve changed your mind.

Your statutory rights aren’t affected where a product is faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied.

What happens if my order arrives damaged?

Please contact us as soon as possible and include your order number and photographs of the damaged product and packaging where possible.

We’ll take a look and help get things sorted.

Can I request a different colour?

Quite possibly!

One of the best things about making our products ourselves is the huge range of colours available to us.

If you’ve found a product you love but want a colour that isn’t currently listed, get in touch and we’ll see what we can do.

Do you make custom fidget toys?

Yes.

We can discuss custom colours, personalised products, adaptations to existing designs and completely bespoke 3D printed fidget designs.

Yes.

We offer wholesale and bulk ordering across selected Mellow Fidgets products.

We’re happy to hear from independent retailers, sensory shops, schools, SEN settings, charities and other organisations.

Can you put our logo on a fidget?

Depending on the design, yes!

We can create custom branded fidget toys incorporating logos, business names, brand colours and other design elements.

They’re great for events, conferences, staff wellbeing packs, promotional merchandise, charities and organisations looking for something a bit more interesting than another branded pen.
